Dear Sir,
Could you kindly tell me the address of battalion etc of ‘E.Dudley Milbourne Marsh”. I think he would enlist in Sydney as his home was at Balmain. He has been in the trenches at Gallipoli but I do not know what position he held, and as I want to write an important letter would you let me know as soon as possible if you could furnish any particulars. I was told in Sydney to enquire at the Base Records Office in Melbourne.
Thank you in anticipation.
I am, faithfully yours,
(Miss) M.A.Briggs.
